Catching up!

Hello all, it has been too long I know. A lot has happened since that last time I wrote, I found out in February that I am pregnant again! We are all so excited. I am very glad and proud to announce that I am having a homebirth!! I will be chronicling my pregnancy and getting ready for a homebirth so people can see what it is like.

I know how lucky I am to have such a supportive husband. He is not the homebirth advocate like me, but he is willing and not worried about me having the baby at home, which is so important when having a homebirth! I have read Ina May's Guide to Childbirth and am halfway through Spiritual Midwifery both wonderful reads for those interested in a homebirth.

My midwives are Margarett Scott and Anne Coffee from Heaven Sent Births in Oklahoma City. Margarett is also my preceptor! So this is going to be a fun birth with friends from all sides! We will be scheduling my first prenatal in the next few weeks.

I am 13 weeks pregnant right now and we will be having an US sometime to find out what the baby is (we can't even wait to get out of the mall parking lot without giving each other the Christmas presents we bought for each other, let alone wait to find out what we are having, lol!). I think that I am having a boy, but Adrian thinks we are having a little girl. But we will be happy either way because this one will not be our last one. We want a big family.

Well I am going to stop for now, I could blog forever about all of the details, but I will leave the rest for other posts. Can't wait to share all of this with everyone!
